I’m an American author who grew up in Tennessee, in my thirties, happily married but without children (for now). My work and inspiration come from a deep desire to escape. My childhood and adolescence were spent doing very much the same – writing to escape or create a better world. My work now, aimed at adults, is mostly inspired from a place of personal fantasy creation. A lot of writers self-insert, and in my first novel “A Chosen Cage,” I’ve spent a lot of time inserting myself emotionally as well as dreaming up scenarios I’d want to put myself in.
