Since I released my debut short, I posted another small, noncon short on Smashwords. I’m working on something a little safer for the sensors so I can try my hand with KDP.
I’m titling this one “Surviving Adam.”
It’s an enemies-to-lovers, survival thriller. The main character, Dia, is a highly trained neurosurgeon. Overly analytical and uptight, Dia finds herself struggling to cope when she’s stuck on an island with Wild Man Adam. Adam is a wildfire prevention specialist – a man that has dedicated his time to managing the elements and saving lives. Their personalities war, but the tension that builds in isolation is inevitable. But something lurks in the dark, hunting them…
Will they survive long enough for their passion to bloom?
Current rough draft of the cover. Looong way to go. But this took me hours to slap together. Send help.
I make my own in GIMP studio with free stock photos and layers. So far, not my favorite, but we’re playing with it.
